Description
Pages of Experience Photography 1947-1987 by Joseph McKenzie “Joseph McKenzie, formerly lecturer in photography at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, was one of the most ambitious and prolific photographers of the nineteen-sixties. But, in 1972, after a decade of achievement and neglect, he abruptly withdrew from public exhibition of his work.” “Joseph McKenzie’s art is founded upon the solid basis of a quite superlative technique, one of the most outstanding of any British photographer, living or dead.” The book includes a poem, an introductory essay by Gerry Badger, and many photographs. The book is in great condition considering its age. There are only slight signs of wear, such as creasing in the spine.
